Haunting – 2007 Music Month Performance

Haunted Love formed in 2005 when Geva Downey and Rainy McMaster met through their work at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery and Otago Settlers Museum.

The band’s sound is predominantly pop, with spooky
overtones. Song subject matter ranges from classic ghost tales of haunted museums to 80’s inspired teenage werewolf confessions to the futuristic romance of computers that fall in love.

They have recently release a music video, which takes the form of a film noir/horror parody, for their song “Librarian“.

The video, which was filmed in the lower basement stack of the Dunedin City Library, has caught the attention of librarians all over the world since being uploaded to Youtube.

Haunted Love are set to record their third single “Love Underwater” this month and are also looking forward to being part of the Dunedin Public Libraries music line-up for New Zealand Music Month.

Haunted Love will be performing live at:
City Library
Friday 11 May, 12.30,
First floor.
