Booksale UnderwayPhew… it’s a busy day here at Dunedin Public Libraries with a good rush of first up buyers to our annual book sale.

First in the door – members of the Dunedin Public Libraries Association, better known as the Friends of the Library. Joining the association means you get to come to the book sale preview from 1.30pm onwards. The book sale opens it’s doors to the public from 4pm – check our earlier news blog post for more details on dates and times.

Today marks the first Lunch n’ Learn session with the Friends of the Library.
The speaker is Stuart Strachan who will be talking about “The Hocken in the 21st Century”

The Dunedin Public Library Association hosts a regular Lunch and Learn session.
These informative sessions include: Author talks, Library staff presentations, and a range of other topics.

Sessions start at 12.00 noon, and cost $1.50 for members and $3.00 for non-members.
