Glowing Letters for Kids @ Dunedin Public Libraries

Originally uploaded by Dunedin Public Libraries

Just posted to our Flickr photo stream are images from an event held last year as part of our centenary.

It was a chance for kids to create their own superbly decorated alphabet letter in the style of the manuscripts of earlier centuries.

In our Glowing Letters session we used a variety of materials and techniques so kids could discover the colourful art of illumination.

Head over to our Flickr site for more images.
