Set in a small country village in England during the 1950’s this is the story of Arthur a local doctor approaching retirement.

He persuades his son Tom (who is working in a city hospital) to return home with his wife and 4 children and take over the practice.

The family struggles to adapt to the slower pace of country life which creates a few amusing incidents along the way.

This is a heart warming tale of village life and very enjoyable to watch.

If you liked the television series Heartbeat then you’ll love Born and Bred.
