Snake hips: belly dancing and how I found true love – Anne Thomas Soffee

Image - Book Cover This chatty, witty memoir covers a few years of the authors life in which she recovers from a breakup, survives various dating disasters, makes friends, nuts out her quirky family, and also learns belly dancing.

It’s not a how-to of belly dancing although what she says is true and some reliable sources are listed.

And it’s not an in-depth history of the author’s Lebanese heritage – but it is a lot of fun.

Anne Soffee writes with humour, perception, compassion for the human foibles of those around her, and well-judged pacing.
