In Between Dreams – Jack Johnson

If you love the laid back quality of Jack Johnson’s earlier albums then you’ll enjoy this one too.

While I do enjoy relaxing to a little bit of his music it is wearing a little thin, and this latest album is certainly pushing me to my limits.

It’s nice to hear clear lyrics though and most of them actually make sense!  Each song tells a story – for some reason I particularly enjoyed Banana Pancakes which tells of a lazy morning in bed (in the middle of the week!)

Overall, I really have mixed feelings on the CD.  It’s good, but it’s just so much like every other Jack Johnson CD I’ve heard that I can’t really get into it too much.

It’s not really a CD to use for background music, but if you want to sit and reflect on the lyrics it’s brilliant.
