Love your food? Then come along to listen to award-winning food writer Kate Fraser. Kate has recently published Cooking Times, a collection of recipes and anecdotes from the kitchens of a series of fictitious characters.
From the hard times of the 1930s through the 2nd World War years and the changes of the 1960s to the ‘slow food’ movement of the present day, the stories present an overview of the development of our national food culture.
Kate Fraser is the editor of Zest, the food and fashion section of The Press. She draws on an Otago family heritage of cooking and entertaining to create uncomplicated and stylish recipes.
