From the team at Natural History New Zealand we present a fascinating look at the science and psychology behind the extreme adventure of mountain biking.
Take two extraordinary athletes, one an almost superhuman endurance competitor ranked among the top multi-sporters in the world, the other a legend in his hometown of Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world, for his death-defying downhill stunts.

Give them the most up to date, high tech mountain bikes that money can buy and send them into the highest city in the world to begin one of the most extreme mountain biking adventures ever conceived.

And then watch as these two mountain biking legends complete challenges that most people would never even contemplate, pushing their bodies and mental endurance to the max.
