I’m lucky enough to be one of the few who has tickets for next months Red Hot Chili Pepper’s concert in Auckland. So In preparation for my trek to hear them play in person, I thought I’d check out what the library had in its collections. And I wasn’t let down.

If you’re looking for books, the library has Anthony Kedis’ biography Scar Tissue. It’s a fascinating incite into the life of the lead singer of an international superstar band.

If it’s the actual music you’re looking for, we also have a number of their albums, including Stadium Arcadium, Californication and their Greatest Hits. We also have the Chili’s live at Slane Castle.

But for those of you who are like me and aren’t just happy with hearing the music, we also have a collection of their Greatest Hits for guitar.

So if you haven’t got tickets, forget TradeMe, check out what the library has on offer!
