Talking to Strangers” by Anne Cassidy
This book is a thriller for Young Adults.
It’s the summer holidays and ten-year-old Caroline has gone missing. She was last seen getting into a black car with a strange man. Maggie’s strange new neighbour owns a black car and she sees him burying a child’s belongings in his back garden. Maggie is intrigued by the events and sets out to find the truth.
Anne Cassidy is a popular young adult novelist. She often writes about the way in which ordinary people can get caught up in crime.
The story is written with insight and sensitivity and is a real page-turner.
