Spanish month at Leslie Groves Hospital

March is Spanish month at Leslie Groves Hospital and as part of the Special Access monthly delivery service to the hospital specific items on Spain will be included.

Lesley Cuthbertson, Diversional Therapist requested the DPL’s help with this theme, and picture books, that include Spanish costume, architecture, customs, food, and music were added to Leslie Groves normal delivery.
Guided by a simple Spanish phrase book, Lesley will replace signage in common areas at the hospital with its Spanish translation. Residents will have fun dressing up Spanish style, communicating in simple Spanish and making music with hand-crafted castanets, to the beat of the various Spanish CDs provided by Special Access.

This is an example of how Rest home deliveries by Special Access can be tailored to meet specific needs.
