Saucy Reading – Lucky Numbers @ Dunedin Public Library
As part of our Saucy Reading session members of the public enjoyed a short excerpt from the current Fortune Theatre play ‘Lucky Numbers’
Winner of the ‘People’s Play Award’ in Newcastle 2007 Nana Connie Patterson is teetering on the brink of senility, forced to give up her own home and move in with her daughter’s family, where she is considered to be a bit of a handful. Until her lucky numbers come up on Lotto and she wins 8.2 million! Suddenly, Nana has regained some control and this is where the hilarity begins!
