Partner in Lifelong Learning

Within just one or two degrees of separation, most people will
know someone with children currently at school or recently
graduated to tertiary studies, the workforce or life experience.
With the start of the new school and academic year upon
us, it is timely to reflect on the role of the public library as a
partner in the lifelong learning journey of each member of our
community.
In recognition of this important partnership, the Dunedin City
Council has recently adopted a new Library Learning Support
Policy to strengthen the links between your public library and the
139 schools and preschools across the city.
