Brainy kids need broadband
March 6, 2007 at 9:48 am | In Library Publications, The Word |That’s the message that Telecom wants parents to take on board. And, of course, quick access to the Internet is an asset to any household and its members. Educationally, though, what are kids’ real information needs?
Information needs to be accurate and as far as possible it needs to be impartial: if it’s put out by some interest group who want to sell us something or influence our political or religious opinions, it may still be of some use to us, but only if we know who they are and what their agenda is.
